Assignment 6 Garrett Peavler

My favorite subject that I've had in school is Psychology. It is just fascinating to learn the logical explanations for why we do what we do or why we think the way we do. It is one of the most interesting classes I have taken (it did help that Ms. Clark was one of the best teachers I have ever had). And it is also rewarding to have knowledge of psychology because much of the information you learn in psychology can be applied to your own life. Also topics regarding psychology come up in conversations more than you'd think and then everyone thinks you're smart because you know basic level psychology terms. In all, I am fond of psychology because I think that knowing psychology can legitimately improve your life.

Now, all this is not to say that I want to go into the field. Being a psychologist, in any branch, sounds boring to me, and being a therapist is not something that I can see myself doing. So as much as I appreciate learning about psychology, I don't really want it to be my life.
