The world decides that in order to save the human race, it must first destroy the weakest among them and those that cause a drain on resources. A mysterious "plague" is introduced into the communities around the world in hopes to eradicate the elderly, the sick and the weak. It is the ultimate survival of the fittest in order to save the human race. Scientists laud the accomplishment which will ease the financial strain caused by the weak and infirm. Global warming will be solved and hunger will be known no more. When asked whether the method was inhumane, scientists answered "the ends justify the means. We are only getting rid of the weakest link and most people that will succumb are already old and we are surprised they are still alive. They will be dead soon anyway." Although grandparents will be missed, we have the memories.
