Assignment 14 - Ethan Scutchfield

Thanksgiving looks the same for me every year.  I don't really care about the holiday.  We historically have gone to Louisville to spend the holiday at my grandparents.  After my Papa died in 2017, we changed the holiday a little bit for a few years.  The year he died, we went to eat at the UK Faculty Club.  There was nothing in the buffet I wanted to eat, so I just ate desserts.  My family always makes a lot of different food, and I don't like any of it.  So each year, I only eat a little turkey, Hawaiian rolls and my mom always makes macaroni and cheese just for me.  I usually say hello to family when they arrive, then go up to my room to either play video games or play on my phone.  I come down for dinner and then as soon as I am finished, I return to my room.

I wouldn't say its really strange or my favorite memory, but this year because of Covid, not all of the family came into Lexington for the holiday.  My aunt and uncle in Colorado, my aunt, uncle and cousin in Louisville and my immediate family played a game of werewolf over Zoom.  Although it was the game I wanted to play, I kept getting taken out of the game in the first play of the game.  They knew I understood the game.
