Assignment 14 - Jimmy Chen

My family is not the most festive family there is. You should see Christmas, I guess we are very festive with that one because our Christmas tree never goes down, it is 17 years old at this point, collecting dust. When it comes time after thanksgiving we plug in the tree. We often have very lack luster thanksgivings, usually if anything interesting happens we head over to some other Asian family's home and eat their turkey and bring something basic like mashed potatoes. Occasionally we go to my sister's boyfriend's family's thanksgiving as they actually have lots of family and that's pretty fun. This thanksgiving was pretty basic and lackluster even for my standards. We ordered from an open Chinese restaurant and made some mashed potatoes. Then we watched a movie in the living room. After that I went back to my room and carried on with my day. We really don't have that special of a thanksgiving.
