Assignment 9 Garrett Peavler

The issue I care about most is probably political polarization. It is no secret that in the United States everyone is pretty much divided into two camps: the camp that believes one thing and the camp that believes the complete opposite. How dumb is that? How are people in this country supposed to express their full and complete opinion when they have to choose between two parties that don't agree on a single issue?  Sure, there are other parties like the Libertarians and some others (I don't think I can name any others, truth be told), but none of them can compare to the big name parties, and it is disheartening to vote for a party that wont even get ten percent of the vote. There is no easy solution either. The only thing that can really be done is to just stop giving support to the big parties, but everyone knows that won't happen until they mess up badly. So for now the issue sticks to this country like a leech, destroying any resemblance of unity and slowly killing our country.
