Assignment 1 Garrett Peavler

            I’m not really sure how to start this. I could start by saying “Hello, my name is Garrett” or something like that, but that sounds weird, doesn’t it? Maybe not, but I mean it feels weird to me to say hello in writing. And this concern is amplified by the fact that this is what? Two? Three months late? A little bit late to be saying hello. 

So some things about me, as is evident, I’m a bit of a procrastinator. NTI is weird. And it has certainly made things more complicated. It’s also made procrastinating way easier, as there is no teacher looking me in the eye, pounding the dread of the approaching due date into my thick skull. So what are my academic goals? Pass. That’s all. 

I don’t want to say that I’m a music nerd as that tends to give off the idea that I’m an expert on music theory, which is not the case. I play the bass guitar and I am teaching myself how to play guitar and drums. So if you ask me what geeks me out or what I do with my free time, music would be it.
