Assignment 6 - Sanat Dharwad

 One interest I currently have is listening, playing, and writing music. During summer break I had a lot of free time to spend, so I went and finally wrote some songs and started to practice guitar more. I found that music, and the process of writing it, is much more complicated than I previously thought. Luckily, I found a great online community of musicians in which we could share and critique other’s music, which really helped me improve, and expand my musical horizons. In this community, tasks were set up, such as trying to come up with a unique chord progression that actually sounds good, trying to make a melody to a series of random chords, and collaborating with other artists, which were all much harder to do than I anticipated. Music is also the only method in which I can adequately creatively express myself, as I am abysmal at any visual art, and not so good (hopefully just for now) at writing.
