It's important to be open minded. 

I can't tell you how many times I've had conversations with people, or read comments online, where I'm sitting there thinking, "Why can't you just listen". It's like, people are never trying to hear each other out, they just wait until it's their turn to talk and don't even try to acknowledge the points of the other person. 

Listening is so important in society. In anything. You're not going to get anywhere without it. 

I hate it so much. It makes me want to cry sometimes because, not only is it impolite and frustrating, but it can make people feel so worthless if they're never given an opportunity to let themselves be heard. 

I don't know... I know it's idealistic and I know it's this impossible goal, but I really wish that it wasn't. I wish that it wasn't so hard for people to shut their mouths and have some perspective... to want to have perspective.. to want to listen. 

If anything it just shows how little the majority of people care about each other. I wish more people loved more people.
