 Does Sally really sell sea shells?

Well let's find out!

Does Sally make any profit on these sea shells? How much would she have to make?

Or better yet does Sally Sell Seashells by the Sea Shore to Supplement her Salary with Selling Sea Shells at the Shack down by the SeaShore called Sally’s Seashell Shack where you can buy Seashells from Sally by the SeaShore??

Let's say Sally is selling the shells for a dollar a pop, that means that if she wanted the average american annual salary she would have to sell about 52,000 seashells a year not counting tax. That is almost 1000 shells a week which most certainly means that  Sally is probably not making much money and is for sure committing tax fraud.
