Assignment 14- Will Stone

When I was younger, my Thanksgiving usually involved travel, either to my Aunt and Uncle’s house in Colorado or to my grandparents’ house in Florida. It was always fun to hang out with my cousins, but it could be stressful, too.  Some holidays we would hang out around the house, but sometimes we would go places.  My favorite Thanksgiving memory was the year we went skiing in Colorado when I was eight years old.
I don’t get to go skiing very often, so it was a treat to go with my family.  We all drove up to a ski resort and went to rent our skis.  The cousins all signed up for skiing lessons.  We met our instructors and headed out to the slopes. It was so much fun to learn how to ski, even though it was super cold and windy. When it was lunchtime, we all went inside and ate lunch with my family.  After lunch, my dad took me skiing on the big slopes, which was so much fun.
