Assignment 9: Sanat Dharwad

 One thing that I get frustrated about is that there are people in the world that are just disgustingly rich. Jeff Bezos, currently the richest person alive, has a net worth of around 182 billion dollars. What is he going to do with that? All of this money is just sitting there, with nowhere to go. Maybe Mr. Bezos is going to give 1% of his money to some philanthropic institutions, but even then, 100 million is just spare change to him. Plus, during this time of economic recession when almost everyone’s bank accounts are taking a hit, the richest of the rich, including Bezos, are getting richer, and a rate higher than before. There is genuinely no reason I can think of for anyone to be that rich. Even if anyone had one quarter of that amount of money, it’s impossible to spend it all. That remaining three quarters could go to much better places than one person's pocket, such as humanitarian relief, or feeding the hungry.
