I think that if we had a zombie apocalypse I’d like to think I’d survive for more than a week but I don’t know if that’s true. I’d probably either stay in my house with my family and board everything up or find a group of people to stay with because of the safety in numbers. I’d probably fill up like all containers I could with water before plumbing and stuff goes out and try to stock up on food even though I suppose that’s what everyone would be doing. I’d try my best to board up the windows and doors and make sure you couldn’t see anything in the house from the outside. My philosophy is that if the zombies can’t see you and don’t know you’re there they won’t even try to pursue so if we just keep our house locked up and make it look like no ones there, maybe they’d leave us alone. That’s what I’m hoping for at least. Id definitely keep a variety of weapons near me at all times, knives near where I sleep, probably a system that would make noise if a zombie actually got in the house to wake me up if I was asleep, and maybe sharpen some sticks or something if all my knifes got taken or something. I’ve got a big heavy flashlight that would probably do some damage if I could hit someone hard enough with it so that might work too. That’s probably the closest thing I have to a baseball bat. I’d have to leave the house eventually for when we did run out of food and water but I think the best plan would be to wait out the initial shock of it all on the inside and then once things have calmed down maybe go out to find more people and resources.
