Our Thanksgiving changes yearly. When we were really young, it was just a normal day. Then as we got older- when I was in upper elementary and middle school- we would go hiking and eat turkey sandwiches. That was our thing. And we had a good five or six-year streak. But, now that we were older it became easier to travel- meaning we are now bearable on long road trips than when we were kids. A few years ago we went to Disney and had a BLAST. This year we went grocery shopping and then my mom and I cooked dinner and food for the rest of the week (which we normally do over the weekend). Thanksgiving is fine, it's not my favorite holiday but I enjoy the break from school. It's a nice breather. I don't really have any strange or wonderful memories from Thanksgiving but I really liked the hiking and, like I said, Disney was a blast.
