As boring as this sounds, there is nothing I really 'geek out' over. I like a variety of things -- I enjoy Marvel movies, and Harry Potter, and psychology (among other things) -- but none of these things really make me 'geek out'. One thing I am very interested in, though, is medicine. There is no specific field of medicine I am intrigued by, but I find medicine as a whole to be fascinating. I've always wanted to pursue a career in medicine, and growing up with doctors for parents definitely contributed to my growing interests in the field. The body is so incredible, and medicine really highlights the way every part of our body interconnects and works together to create a functioning machine. It's amazing to learn about how our body fights off diseases, or how our joints work in tandem to allow us to move, or how cells work in aiding (or harming) our body. Obviously, medicine is very difficult to understand and is very complicated; however, I love learning more about it whenever I can, even as confusing as it may be.
