I don’t watch a lot of television, but every night after my parents have had dinner, we sit on the couch and watch something. Usually it’s some stupid show like “My 600 lb Life,” or “Dr. Pimple Popper,” or something like that, but we also watch a couple actual shows with storylines together as well, like “What We Do in the Shadows.” The extent of TV I watch is basically that. I’m not a big Netflix/Hulu fan and if I do watch it I prefer to watch movies rather than shows. For awhile in eighth grade I got really into South Park but it’s been awhile since I’ve ever actually watched a show and like tuned in every week. I also used to watch “Dance Moms,” which was a reality TV show and I guess those are kind of the shows I like to watch because the people are so stupid! Everyone in this show was so nasty and they argued about literally the simplest things and I liked it because it was fun to make fun of especially when you’re watching it with other people. I’d do the same thing with those TLC shows but then I also like to watch those gross shows as well like “Dr. Pimple Popper,” and “My Feet are Killing Me,” where they do actual surgeries and it’s really gross and me and my parents like to cringe at those as well. I don’t really get those super TV show fans cause like I said earlier, I prefer to watch movies because you can start and finish it within around two hours and get the whole story, however with a TV show it’s more of a long commitment. Basically I prefer movies over TV shows and I don’t feel like it should be that big of a deal.
